Prototyping, machining on numerical control machine tools, production of mechanical parts and small items, machining of iron and steel alloys, supports for electronics, brass and PVC details, sandblasting and surface finishes:
PMM guarantees flexibility and an ability to meet customer needs with a wide range of activities and machining for the most diverse sectors.
The company’s technical staff develops the prototype, tests and troubleshoots any possible production problems, finishes its details and then submits it to the customer’s quality inspection.
What distinguishes PPM prototypes from the rest is the company’s will to work together and communicate with the customer, its willingness to interpret the customer’s needs and to support him during project development, and its ability to offer products finished down to the finest detail.
This is why the company also has a department dedicated to assembly, machining and surface finishes that works hand in hand with the production and prototyping areas. By using tumblers it can correct burrs or achieve a particular roughness, while by using its fully automatic grit blasting machines it ensures an aesthetic homogeneity of machining that allows it to meet the needs of the most demanding industries, such as medical or furniture. Through an established network of partners selected for the rigour of their machining, reliability and expertise, it also takes it upon itself to carry out heat treatments, painting, and normal and hard anodizing treatments.
The CAD/CAM software for continuous 5-axis machining designs enables execution of prototypes and quantity productions with reduced time, without overlooking quality.
Machining is done directly from the solid piece without going through the paper. The prototyping is started directly and once it is inspected and approved, quantity production commences.
